Marijuana itself does not stay in the body for long periods of time, which is why hemp and other marijuana based products are safe to use and will not cause you to fail a drug test for marijuana. Instead, chemicals from marijuana do. THC, the main chemical in marijuana, is the chemical that creates a high and is what remains in the system. Though the effects of THC wear off within a few hours of ingesting marijuana, traces of the chemical can remain in the body for weeks.

Here's a cool story about a movement that began last year on Thanksgiving...
Once upon a time in modern-day L.A., a group of generous DIY do-gooders looked at the city's rampant homeless problem, and then at the city's flourishing weed industry, and decided to use the latter to help the former. What's become known as Weed the Homeless isn't a fancy operation: It's as simple as handing out weed, in addition to clothing, food, toiletries and other essentials, to people living on the street.

Loud, gas, dank all describe that familiar smell we know when someone has buds around that can be smelt from a mile away. Imagine capturing that aroma in oil form. Live Resin is one of the latest forms of cannabis concentrate. To process, it requires expensive laboratory equipment and trained technicians. This process is often labeled “full plant” or “full spectrum” because it involves the entire plant, including the flowers, leaves, branches, and even stalk.
This increasingly popular and unique form of cannabis concentrate involves the cryogenic freezing of a freshly-harvested plant at temperatures below -292 degrees F (-180 C). Cannabis consumers who focus on terpenes like live resin because it preserves the terpene profile of the plant. Terps are responsible for the sometimes pungent odor of cannabis, so live resin has a much more full-bodied aroma. It also delivers greater medical efficacy because it provides more of these molecules that have been proven to fight cancer and reduce systemic inflammation.

Has anyone ever experienced the magic of blowing some green on the highway? Have you ever had a smoke session, and you have to drive? Some might compare drinking and driving to smoking and driving, but we feel the two are very different. To start, one substance has proven harmful to your body while the other has proven to heal. There has been much talk as to how law enforcement would be able to accurately determine if someone is "too stoned to drive". This can prove quite the challenge since everyone's endocannabinoid system responds differently based on their tolerance.
We have all received the promise of the self-driven vehicle. In fact, cars like the Honda Civic and the Tesla deliver autonomous driving capability. Both cars can be seen on the roads today. Could this justify driving safety? After all, your hands aren't even on the wheel. Maybe if you proved you weren't driving, but you just had the auto drive on it would be cool. Who knows...let's just hope they don't pass some type of weed breathalyzer!
Tradition or addiction? When I first discovered the "Wake n Bake" (which means waking up and getting high in the morning) I thought it was a very cool idea. Normally this was something I did at night before going to a party or just while hanging out with the guys, so for me, at nineteen, it was totally cool that I could experience the same wonders of the night while the sun was up. Now, I will admit that thru the years, this habit has become a common practice. In fact, it was something that I observed as a common practice among many stoners like myself.
Certain scents indicate different health benefits. A citrus scent may hint at stress relief while a more pine scent may encourage creativity. This inspires the phrase the nose knows! Terpenes are found in cannabis just like CDB and THC.
Yep, our main blog is still under construction.
In the meantime, skip on over to the XIV Finance tab located under our blog section. When most of the people in our country are just getting by, rather than getting ahead, something is broken. XIV Finance is working to make it right by dishing out key articles and information our community can use to learn and be informed regarding financial news for the cannabis industry.
